Man killed family because he couldn't feed them

A 40-years-old man okpoma village in yala local govt,cross river state known as DOMINIC IYAYI OGAR killed his wife and their only daughter.

This insane act took place Oct 8,2016 in mpape Abuja.
It was said that in the middle of the night while they were all sleeping the man woke up and stabbed his 7-years old wife and to year old daughter in their sleep, both died instantly.

After which he took them to a nearby primary school and dump them there..leaving a written not beside the bodies. then he went and hide in his farm.

This evil deed was said to come to notice when one of his neighbors by name DESTINY ONWUSUAKA, noticed a trail of blood that lead straight from the door of the family.

According to Destiny in a chat with SUNDAY SUN REPORTER, she said it was around 7AM she saw the trail of blood and followed to the door post of OGAR and when he look inside,she saw a pool of blood, but i didn't see anyone in the house...it was later she saw the corpse, she shouted and called out for other neighbors,then they all ran to the police to tell them about the incident.

Then both the neighbors and police started searching for the husband,and it took for days before they found him at his farm Oct 11 2016.

At the criminal investigation department of the FCT, police command, where OGAR spoke and said "I don't have  job,i cannot feed my family,i can only feed myself,and God should forgive me for what i have done. "I don't know what came over me,it was frustration that led me to stab my wife and daughter to enable me survive in life'
